My family and I were so excited to have the opportunity to review Disney’s “G-Force” on DVD!  I had seen previews of the movie and really wanted to see it, as did my husbands and kids.  It was a really funny movie and I don’t mind watching it over and over again with my kids – lol!  My boys really enjoyed the mice and the talking guinea pigs.  Hurley and Juarez were my personal favorites!  Hurley was really funny and I could listen to Juarez talk all night (good job Penelope).  We enjoyed watching the deleted scenes and the music videos.  Plus, the bloopers were hilarious and were a definite added bonus to the DVD pack.  This would definitely be a great stocking stuffer!

“G-Force” was released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 15th, 2009 by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.  This action-packed, comedy-adventure movie comes on DVD, as well in a Disney Combo Pack, which includes a Blu-ray, DVD, and Disney Digital Copy of the movie in a single package.  “G-Force” was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean) and features voices by Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Jon Favreau, Penelope Cruz, Tracy Morgan, and Steve Buscemi.  There are also live performances by Bill Nighy, Will Arnett,, and Zak Galifianakis. Academy Award®-winning visual effects master Hoyt H. Yeatman, Jr. (1989 winner for Best Effects; Visual Effects, The Abyss) makes his directing debut.

“G-Force” is about a top-secret, highly trained trio of guinea pig super spies that is assigned to stop a plot to take over the world.  Squad leader Darwin (voiced by Sam Rockwell) will do what it takes to guarantee the success of his team, which also includes Blaster (Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude, and Juarez (Penelope Cruz), gorgeous martial arts pro.  With the help of Speckles (Nicolas Cage), a star-nosed mole, and myriad other members of the animal kingdom, the G-Force work together to prevent disaster from happening by evil appliance mogul Leonard Saber.  See what happens in the hit movie, “G-Force.”

Thanks for the review. My daughter wants to watch this, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted her to. You review sounds like we’d all enjoy it, so we’ll watch it on one of our upcoming family movie/pizza nights (Fridays, of course!).
