Darda Cars Race Track Review & Giveaway

Darda logoMy boys love to play with cars!  However, this is the first time they’ve had the opportunity to actually race them!  Thanks to Darda Cars, we had the opportunity to review the Darda Victory Lane Race Set.  They had a blast rolling the cars backward and watching them take off flying along the track – upside down and in circles.  Heck, I’m an adult and I had a blast doing it as well – lol!

Darda Race TrackDarda Victory LaneIf you’re looking for something fun to give as a gift for the holidays, you should definitely check out Darda Toys.  The Darda toy cars are brightly colored and the race tracks are tons of fun!  It’s perfect – whether for a boy, girl, or your spouse.  “It’s a race to the checkered flag with the world’s fastest motorized toy cars!”  With these unique, German-designed motor cars, you’ll find some interesting features.  There is a special clutch that prevents the motor from being over-wound.  All you have to do is simply roll the Darda car with a back and fort motion while pressing down lightly on the car.  The clicking sound tells you that the motor is winding.  When the clicks get louder, you know it’s fully wound and ready to go.  Just release the car and watch it shoot forward at up to 30 mph – with no batteries or electricity needed (I really like this feature)!  If used properly, the Darda cars will run for thousands of uses.

Darda Track (2)Darda introduces the Victory Lane NASCAR Play Set.  The play set features two NASCAR heroes – Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson – with their trademark DuPont and Lowe’s branded cars.  You and your kids (depending on how young they are) can set up the 60+ piece Victory Lane track and race one another using the two Darda NASCAR cars.  As the cars round the final curve onto the Victory Lane straightaway, a checkered flag is set up and ready to signal the winner.  The full track size is 53″ x 25″ x 12.5″.  The Victory Lane Set is great for ages 4 and up and retails for $64.99.

Thanks to Darda Cars, 1 lucky reader on The Mommy-Files will win his or her choice of the Victory Lane Set or the Power Loop Pyramid!!!

  1. If money weren’t an issue, I would love to buy the Glow Loop Scorcher for my nephew, because he loves cars, and he would love that it glows in the dark!!! 🙂

  2. I would choose Power Loop Pyramid because it looks almost unbelievable. I would love to try it out with my son and see if the cars can really make it around all those loops.

  3. If money weren’t an issue, I would get the create a course building system- that way, my kids could build whatever they could imagine, and if they change their mind, can start over!

  4. I would get the Power Loop Pyramid. What I like about it is that all the fast action would hold his attention, but having to power up the cars first by himself allows him to participate in the action itself. Cool!

  7. If money were no object, I would choose the Create-a-Course Building System set for my daughters because they could spend hours and hours creating new courses. I know they would just love that!

Thank you for the chance to win!

  9. main entry: I would pick the Power Loop Pyramid so my grandson can have it to play with here at my house because he is an only child and this would keep him & his papaw busy seeing who would win races and the loops make it real exciting, thanks.

  10. if money were no object, i would love the Darda NASCAR® Victory Lane for my son… he loves to race cars across the floor (you have to watch where you step as there are always little cars on the floor) and my husband loves NASCAR… this would be perfect for both of them to play together!!!!

  11. I would like to get the create a course bucket, that way they have all the pieces and are able to make what they want! Thanks for the contest!

  12. The Create a Course at $130 is out of my price range but it would be perfect for my 2 nephews to share. The Victory Lane or Power Loop Pyramid will do just fine.

  13. If money weren’t an object, we would buy the Create-a-Course Building System. With so many tracks, we could build some amazing layouts. Thank you for the chance to win.

  14. I would buy the Power Loop Pyramid because my son would love the double loops.

  15. If money wasn’t an issue I’d get the create a course building system, I think it would be fun to design your own track

  16. I think the Victory Lane Set becuase my husband could race against the kids. Plus any toy that does not take batteries is a big plus. Power Loop Pyramid would be cool to try with all those loop, feel dizzy.

  17. I’d like the Glow Loop Scorcher because I think it looks the coolest! I think my daughter would like that it glows! Thanks for the chance!

  18. I would say that it would be the Create-a-Course Building System because one of my boys just loves to discover what he can create with toys such as Legos, etc.

  20. I had these when I was a kid and I loved the pull back cars. Recently I got my kid a Darda Car and I was so disappointed. They are made from plastic, fall apart whenever they hit a solid object (which pull back cars do often) and the engine sometimes works and sometimes gets stuck. Some have even reported complete pull engine failure on day 1.

Check the photos in my Darda Cars article, and a complete review.

I am really sad because Darda cars were the best pull back cars, I don’t know how they were back in 2009. BUT NOW, they seem like a scam, 15 – 20 dollars for a non functioning toy.
