Cuisinart logoI LOVE Cuisinart Products!  Whether it’s a blender, food processor, ice cream maker, or Rice Plus Multi-Cooker.  I love the durability and ease of use of the products – something important for a busy mom of 3 little kids.  Thanks to Cuisinart, I had the opportunity to review the Rice Plus Multi Cooker.  At first, I thought, “Cool…a rice cooker!”  Well, I have to tell you, this is not any ordinary rice cooker.  Yes, you can make rice, but you can also make pudding, soup, risotto, and much more!  It’s amazing and definitely an item that is Christmas or birthday gift worthy!

Cuisinart Rice Plus Multi-CookerThe Cuisinart Rice Plus Multi-Cooker (FRC-800) is an amazing appliance that I am pleased to have in my kitchen and use!  This is the first product from Cuisinart with advanced fuzzy logic technology.  This built-in “brain” can sense fluctuatios in cooking and automatically adjusts operation so you end up with perfect results.  What cook doesn’t love that feature?!  You’ll find pre-programmed settings for size types of rice, plus oatmeal, soup, steam, slow cooking, and more.  Plus, it’s easy dishwasher cleanup – definitely a plus in my opinion.  The easier it is to clean up, the more likely I am to use it over and over again.

The Rice Plus Multi Cooker is equipped with fuzzy logic technology so you get perfect results every time you cook.  There is a pre-programmed menu with options including White Rice, Sushi Rice, Brown Rice, Risotto, Oatmeal, Slow Cooking, Steaming, and Soup, as well as Quick Cooking and a Reheat function.  It will automatically switch to Keep Warm after cooking is complete, for up to 24 hours – wow!  The Programmable Finish Time allows the cook to set when the dish will be ready.  It will make up to 15 cups of cooked rice.  Included is a non-stick aluminum cooking pot, easy-to-use/easy-to-read control panel and backlit blue LCD display for easy use, removable steam release and inner lid for easy cleaning, steaming rack, measuring cup, rice paddle, and spoon.  All removable parts are dishwasher safe.  You also get a cookbook with basic to gourmet recipes.  The product has a Limited 3-year warranty.  The Cuisinart Rice Plus Multi-Cooker retails for $149.00.
