Good news Tuesday. Hubby is having a friend look over his resume for a change in job at the place he works. She is suppose to be an expert on these, and even helps do them for other people as a second job. She’s not going to charge him either. I think that’s a nice, kinda early Christmas present.
We had a nice Thanksgiving. We ordered a Hickory Farms Gift for my step-son who’s in the Navy and he’ll be able to receive it this year, since he’s in the States and not deployed in the Middle East like he was last year. All he wanted last year when he was there was meat from Hickory Farms and the military wouldn’t let them get foods they thought were perishable overseas last year, including what he wanted from Hickory Farms. Seems this year they’ve lightened up some of the restrictions since they found out that not all of these items have to be refrigerated.

We were at Good Will on Sunday (brought several bags stuffs to donate). I can’t believe we had to wait for over 15 minutes cause there were too many people waiting in line to donate. It’s a good thing to share.

I know it’s now Wednesday, but I totally needed to focus on something positive right now. I made excellent pastys last night. It was my first try and would have done my great-grandma proud!
