My 3 year old is constantly trying to keep up with his brother, even in the bike riding department.  Thanks to Strider Sports International, we had the opportunity to review the Strider Running Bike in Orange.  As soon as my son saw it, he wanted to take it out for a spin.  When he first started, he was literally running while sitting on the bike – hence the name Running Bike.  Now, he zooms around it likes it’s nothing!  I felt comfortable letting my 3 year old ride on the bike himself instead of jumping for him every time he wobbled back and forth!  This bike is definitely “Approved by The Mommy-Files!”

The great thing about the Strider Running Bike is that there are no “tricycle tip-overs” or “training wheel wobbles,” which tend to create a fear and hesitancy in the child to continue riding on a bike.  The Strider Running Bike helps your child develop balance and coordination skills before learning to pedal.  With this confidence, bike riding becomes much easier and FUN!  The Strider Running Bike is designed for children ages 1-5 and is easy to control.  The bike also has features such as an adjustable seat and handlebars – perfect for your growing child. 

I am amazed by this bike and will definitely be using it with my younger kids when the right time comes.  I also love the customer service I received from Strider Sports International.  They were willing to answer any questions I had and shipped the bike out right away.

This would be an awesome Christmas gift for a young child in your life who is striving to learn to ride a bike!

    I would love to have this bike for my niece.. She would be thrilled. I see they come in great colors, Pink.. umm she loves Pink.. I like the yellow and the green. I also see they sell helmets and the Fox racing shirt.. too cool…

    But, I would love to win one of these for my 2 year old son… red is his favorite color. I am impressed that, according to the video on their site, kids that can walk can learn to ride a Strider. Very cool!

    first I would like to say those boys in the video are cute..one thing I like about this is that children have to use their feet and well, I think it would strengthen their legs…

    Love it teaches balance first before pedaling. My little guy is the perfect age to try this and has no desire to learn to pedal yet. fingers crossed.

    of the many things i love about this bike, the most important is that it is so adjustable, so my little guy could ride it much sooner than the others that are too tall for him. we’d love one in any colour!

    I like the way they learn how to balance. My friend took the pedals off of his daughters bike to do this and it worked! Great idea to make the bike like that! Thanks!

    I like the fact the Strider Running Bike has no cranks or pedals for the kids pant legs to get caught up in while their riding. And being so close to the ground if they have any spills they should be minor.

    That my son would never have the fear of falling without training wheels because he learned to balance easily without a trike just a ‘pedal-less’ bike! 🙂

    I love that this bike is low enough for toddlers start riding. This bike seems like the next natural progression from an infant plastic push bike. It makes more sense than buying a tricyle which a toddler can not developmentally pedal anyway!

    I love that it teaches kids so fast and young. My poor 6 year old son still can’t ride a two wheeler because he’s so terrified of falling. I want to win this so bad!!!

    I love that there are no wheels! My 3 year old daughter is always “running” on a bike and this is a perfect solution to the pedals getting in the way.

    what i love about this bike is that i have a special needs child, and coordinating from pedals to steering is always so frustrating to him, and his legs get hit with the pedal, so this bike was designed perfect for him, he will get to ride the bike, and nbot have to worry about getting hurt with pedals or frustrated to keep riding the bike.

    I just like the basic concept of the bike – how bikes with training wheels don’t teach you to ride a regular bike. When transitioning to a regular bike you’ll still have to learn a whole new skill. Strider teaches you balance, which is the most important part – adding pedalling later should be a breeze! I also like that kids can start using it as soon as they are stable walkers.

    I like this bike. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. It seems so much easier for kids to learn and logical. I would have loved this for my kids when they were younger as I has such a hard time teaching the youngest to ride a bike. I think he would have “got it” much easier than he did with the strider.

    Love that it is lightweight. We hang our bikes and it is too much for me to handle. I have to wait for my husband’s help. Thanks for the giveaway!

    Love the fact that this bike is made for younger kids, and is easy to control. My youngest granddaughter is “almost 3” and her sister is “almost 7”, so the little one wants to do all that her big sister does, and this bike would be a great way for them to go bike riding together!
