Sesame Street 40 Years of Sunny Days

Sunny days, everything’s A-OK….you know the rest of the song!  This DVD set was amazing and brought back a flood of memories while watching it with my kids!  All of a sudden, I was a child watching the typewriter on wheels type a message or the pinball machine with the ball going from letter to letter.  My boys really enjoyed it as well!  The set came with 2 DVDs and a book!  This would make an excellent birthday gift or Christmas gift for kids and adults alike.

The two-disc set, Sesame Street: 40 Years of Sunny Days, features a wide selection of iconic segments of past and present from Ernie’s bath-time song “Rubber Duckie” (Season One), which topped the Top-40 charts for seven weeks; to Kevin Clash’s first episode as Elmo (Season 17); to Maria and Luis’ wedding (Season 19); to Abby Cadabby’s arrival on Sesame Street (Season 37), and much more. Fans can also watch some of their favorite celebrity segments including James Taylor, Pattie Labelle, Smokey Robinson and Feist!

A limited edition, hard cover commemorative book compliments the set.  An amazing anniversary celebration for fans young and old, the commemorative two-disc DVD set SESAME STREET: 40 YEARS OF SUNNY DAYS will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.93.

I received the “Sesame Street: 40 Years of Sunny Days” DVD Set from Genius Products so that I could write this review.  All opinons expressed above are my own.

Nice! My kids were introduced to Sesame Street just over the last year since we moved and could get PBS! And the Kids on Demand function is just great! They love it. Is this suitable for kid watching only or is it more like a biography with clips in between?

I remember being so into this series when I was younger. My daughter not so much! I have tried to get her to watch it, since it’s probably better than most stuff they put on TV nowadays, but she gets bored to easy. Thanks for the review.
