Bumbleride Indie Stroller Review & Giveaway

I had the awesome opportunity of working with Bumbleride and reviewed the Indie Stroller in Lava!  I really loved the color of Lava – black and charcoal – and it was a great fit for my family of 3 boys!  The Stroller was shipped to me quickly and was packaged well – preventing damage to the stroller during transit.

Bumbleride Indie

I waited to open the box until my husband got home, since he is the pro in our family at putting things together.  There were more pieces to attach than I thought there would be, but the directions were helpful and came in handy.  The stroller came with an air pump to fill up the tires to the perfect level, which also came in handy.

Once the stroller was put together, I was excited to go for a stroll around the block!  There are many things I love about the Bumbleride Indie Stroller!  I love the front swivel wheel, making it easy for me to turn the stroller around or quickly change directions.  I also like the fact that you can lock the front wheel in place – perfect for brisk walks.  I also loved the amount of storage space in the basket underneath – the amount it held and the openness (perfect for storing a diaper bag and jackets).  The pocket on the canopy came in handy for carrying my keys, cell phone, and camera!

The ride with the Bumbleride Indie was a smooth one and even put my 18 month old son to sleep.  I like that the extended canopy pulls over the front so that you can block the sun from your little one and prevent unnecessary sunburns.  You can zip off the back of the canopy for extra air flow to your child during the warmer months.  You can also secure the backrest of the seat with the easy slide backrest adjuster, placing the backrest into a flat position for your sleeping child.  The multi-adjustable footrest comes in handy, as does the brake for the rear wheels.  You can use the Indie with your infant car seat, making it easy to use this stroller for your child from infancy to toddlerhood.  I also LOVED the handle and clips to lock it into place, making it super easy to put into your trunk when you’re on the go with little ones! Plus, the fact that it was lightweight is a selling point for any parent looking for a stroller.

Standard accessories include a rain cover, air pump, jogging strap, cup holder, headrest and shoulder pads, and infant seat adapter bar and safety belt.

Optional accessories available for the Bumbleride Indie Stroller include a Snackpack, Carrycot, Jampack, Car Seat Cover, Footmuff & Liner, and Travel Bag.   We received the Snack Pack, which is awesome for snacks and drinks for your little one and it comes with a waterproof lining, making clean-up quick and easy.

There are a few things I hope to see on the next release of this model.  First, I liked the one-push harness system, but would love to see a sternum strap in the future.  I would also like to see a sippy cup holder where the child sits, perhaps a pocket or mesh material.  The other thing I would like to see is an improvement in the multi-adjustable handle.  My handle was fairly sticky and challenging to move when I first tried adjusting it.  However, as I moved it around more, the stickiness wore off.

I would love the twin and the seagrass!
    Twin is super nice
could take my nephew and daughter aty the same time

  5. I love the seagrass. The flyer is ok but not as nice as the Indie. I took my husband to look at this stroller over the weekend. He now understands why I’m so gaga over it!
    Thanks!

  6. I love that it has an Adjustable handle height from 32-45″ I am pretty tall and its hard to find a stroller that is high enough for me. And I love that is so lightweight.

  7. I like the Ruby and my favorite feature is that it is all terrain! I want to win this sooo bad!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

The one-push harness system is a really great feature of the Indie. The red color, Ruby, is my favorite but they all look great, no matter the color! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  9. My favorite feature is all the standard accessories it comes with like the rain cover and air pump.

    My color choice is Ruby.

  10. My favorite feature is the Bumbleride Indie’s 360° front wheel which can be locked inline in the forward or rear facing position for brisk walks and I love the seagrass color.

  11. It’s a toss-up for my favorite feature, between how light it is (20 lbs! For an all-terrain stroller!!) or the fact that it can recline flat, or so they say. Perfect for naps. I love the Lava color, since it’s so gender-neutral.

  12. My fave color is Seagrass…my fave feature is the one-step rear brake. This looks like a fantastic stroller…

  13. I would LOVE to win the Indie in “Lava”. As for my favorite feature of the Indie? There are many, but I especially love the multi-terrain capability of this stroller and the Quick release five point safety harness.

  14. I spent a loooong time on the Bumbleride site trying to figure out my favorite thing about the Indie. Though there are many things that make it my dream stroller I think my favorite are the off roadin’ tires. We live a few miles from the beach and there’s a mommy and me there that I’d love to attend when LO is here. Having a stroller that can handle sand will be a must!
p.s. Lava is my favorie color too.

  15. ENTRY #3
I’m now following you by Google Connect! Which is very neat by the way, I’ve never used it before.

And thanks so much for the chance to win such a wonderful prize! You’re the bee’s knees!

  16. I love that the handles are adjustable (i am short and my husband is tall)… our first baby is arriving in March and friends complain about their strollers being too low. I also LOVE the front wheel mechanism. How cool that it can either lock or swivel!

  17. I really like the adjustable handle. I’d choose the color Spice, I love orange! I sooo need this stroller w/ 2 boys ages 17 months and 3 years 🙂

  18. I love the handle to help carry it when folded! I love the lava color. I think for my active toddler it will hide dirt the best.lol : )

  19. I think the color Lava would be fun, would definitely stand out that’s for sure! I like so many features of the Bumbleride, but the big cargo basket is a real plus, so is the carrying handle when folded (I always struggle to lift my stroller when it’s folded so a handle for that purpose is perfect.

  20. I love Bumbleride I don’t know if my fave feature is that it comes in an awesome twin or the fabukous accessories that they now have but this is a great stroller! I would love to win a new one for my new baby due in January. I think I would like the spice or the ruby. That way my 18 month old woould not look girly in it either!

  21. I love Bumbleride I don’t know if my fave feature is that it comes in an awesome twin or the fabukous accessories that they now have but this is a great stroller! 22. I like the queen B Black stroller! My fave feature is the roomy storage it has. Most strollers have a smaller storage space but this one looks real roomy;-)

  23. I love the fact that the storller has multi-functional handle so even the small mom to the bigger mom can feel comfortable pushing it around. An awesome color is the orange one.

  24. I love the orange/ blue one and I like that it comes with an air pump and cup holders. These are things that for some reason I need often and when I don’t have them its upsetting=)

  25. Love the adjustable handle since I’m short & hubby is really tall. Colour choice was a tough one, but I think Vita is my fave.

  26. Heather Garland

My favorite feature of the Indie is the easy slide backrest adjuster which can secure the backrest in a flat position. This adjuster also allows Indie to fold faster and more compactly than ever before! What Mom doesn’t want that? Awesome! The color that I love is ‘RUBY’.

    hether78(at)gmail(dot)com

  27. I LOVE the one button harness system! It’s good to see a stroller with such a good strap system, ours is only around the belly and then a bar, but it can lead to some straining on my little guys part and bouncing around.

    I follow on twitter! @lovelyk

  28. I love the style and compact wheel base and fold. I’ve been looking for an all terrain stroller like this with air-filled tires. My favorite color is either orange or green.

  29. Hi,

Last weekend I was introduced to the Bumbleride Indie and my husband and I fell in love with it. Our favorite feature is adjustable handlebar because my husband is 6’0″ and I am 5’0″, that and the spacious seat for our baby….. can we only share one favorite feature because there are so many great things to like about this stroller! The lava color is appropriate for our little boy due next month. Love the other colors too but practicality won me over.

  30. my favorite spec about the bumbleride is the adjustable handlebar. i’m not quite 5’2″ and my husband is 6’1″ so it is a must for us!

  31. also really like that the bumbleride comes with many of the extras that most strollers do not, such as the carseat adapter…that’s a biggie.

  32. My favorite feature is the large wheels–we live in the city, and it looks like the stroller would handle the uneven brick sidewalks well. Love the seagrass color!

  33. Awesome looking stroller!

Love the lava colour, good for girls or boys. My favourite is the swivel wheel! I think all strollers should adapt that feature.

  34. I follow your blog thru google Gidget:) We have a daughter coming from India in a few months,we could sure use this stroller and the name fits perfect,:)

  35. I like the 360 degree swiveling front wheel and I would choose it in Seagrass. I would love to win my niece has this on her baby registery.

  36. I love all the great features but I think that the adjustable height is the best. I am super short and the boyfriend is over 6 foot so… would be a winner for us.

  37. Jennifer Pellicone

I am almost 6 foot tall so the Adjustable handle height is a FANTASTIC feature. I would like he seagrass color best.

  38. I like the Lava color best and I really like that the Bumbleride Indie features a multi-adjustable handle that can extend from 32-45″ high.

  39. I like the height adjustable handle. My husband is a foot taller than me so this is a MUST! Also, LOVE the vita color!
    laurenisrocknroll at hotmail dot com

  40. Love the Lava… and hard to pick one feature but the Adjustable handle height from 32-45 is sooo wonderful since we are a tad taller than adverage and most other strollers are too short

  41. My favorite feature is the 360′ swivel front wheel with the inline lcoking option.
And my favorite color is Ruby.

Thank you so much for the chance to win.

    jweezie43[at]aol[dot]com

  42. I love the sea grass AND the black and charcoal…can’t decide which I would enjoy having more. =) I also like the 360 degree front wheel and that everything is adjustable.

  43. I love that it’s both all-terrain and just 20lbs – the perfect combination for me to take it on the fire-roads and then haul it up the 25+ exterior stairs to our house!! Seagrass is my favorite color though Spice comes in as a close second. Thanks for this opportunity!

  44. I like the indie stroller in lava. I also like that it features a multi-adjustable footrest that is comfortable for infants as well as toddlers.

  45. My favorite feature is that the Bumbleride Indie Twin has a multi-adjustable handle that can extend from 32-45″ high. I’d love the lava color!

  46. I’m a taller girl so I love the fact that the indie has a multi-adustable handle height feature. I like the seagrass color

  47. I personally like the 360° swivel front wheel with inline locking option and really like it in the ruby.

  48. I am newly in love with the bumbleride stroller.. I LOVE the adjustable handle (my husband and I are tall so we often find ourselves hunched over…we tried this out at a store and it is perfect!)
