Hershey’s Halloween Candy Review & Giveaway

Hershey's logo

It’s not a secret that I love chocolate!  I was excited to have the opportunity to review some fun Halloween treats from Hershey’s!  I received 2 bags of the Hershy’s Halloween Miniatures and a bag of the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins – way cute!  Hershey’s goal was to put the “treat” in “trick-or-treat” and I believe they succeeded in just that.

Hershey's Assorted Candies

I loved the variety of flavors and cute wrappers in the bag of Hershey’s Miniatures!!  It included Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Krackle, and Mr. Goodbar.  My boys loved the Black Candies (the Milk Chocolate with the black wrappers that had white ghosts on them).  What a fun and yummy way to brighten up your trick-or-treaters’ pumpkins this Halloween!!

Hershey's Pumpkins

I also loved the Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins.  I loved the purple wrappers and thought it was very creative that they were in the shape of pumpkins!  Now, here is a tip – put them in the freezer and they are so good!  These again are great treats to give those princesses and superheroes this Halloween!  **Note – they do contain peanut butter for those who have peanut allergies.**

Thanks to Hershey’s, 1 lucky reader will win a bag of Hershey’s Miniatures on The Mommy-Files!!!

  5. Wow, what a great site! I love the coloring pages and the myspace layouts. I never would have expected to find those things on a candy company site. My favorite receipe has to be the Peanutty Rocky Road. I’m nuts for any combination of peanut butter and chocolate!

  6. Thanks for introducing me to this inviting site. The Halloween Cookie Pizza sounds good and the coloring pages will keep the kids busy until it gets dark enough to go out trick-or-treating. Thanks for the contest. I’m a subscriber.

  7. I like the tips on how to make dice. My friend is looking for a costume for her daughter and this was better than my suggestion of a Flip flop on her head, and a large pink outfit to simulate (Gum stuck to a flip flop) Hehehhehe..

Yes… she chose that idea, I think her daughter will be the cutest gum wad ever!!!

  8. A fun tip I learned was to scatter or pile dried leaves in corners around the house to bring the outdoors “in” for an unexpected but unique party look.

  9. here is a great decorating tip: Use plastic, store bought fall leaves to decorate shelves, a fireplace mantel or to use as part of a fall centerpiece. Surround with family created crafts or bowls of HERSHEY’S Halloween candy to add to the festive look

Instead, ask guests to BYOB ( bring your own bat- paper cutouts or plastic dollar store type) which i use as additional decoration.
