My Yoga 2 Go Review & Giveaway

My Yoga 2 Go

Thanks to Family Review Network, I had the opportunity to review a Yoga Practice System from My Yoga 2 Go! I am not a very flexible person and had a negative experience when I took a yoga class one time. However, I have to say that I loved this system and wouldn’t mind trying yoga again or even getting a yoga certification after reviewing the system. It was fun and I could do what I wanted to do. For example, if I wanted to work on Back Strength, I would select the yellow identified cards and place them in the pockets. I simply hang up the display tote and follow along at my own pace.  It is an awesome product!

The first thing you do is choose from 7 different sequences, including: Back Strength, Hip-Opening, Ashtanga, Core Strength for Athletes, Flow, Energizer, and Relaxation. Next, you organize by the pose number and insert the cards into the display tote. Then you hang the display tote on a wall or doorknob.  Follow along and enjoy the workout in the comfort of your own home!  The sequences range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes. You can choose from the 7 sequences or customize your own (with the 70 cards available).

My Yoga 2 Go was founded in 2007 by Beth Siegel, a dedicated yoga practitioner and busy mom.  She created the My Yoga 2 Go Practice System for those who needed a comprehensive and portable practice solution that provided both the challenge and versatility of a traditional yoga class – for use in one’s home.  My Yoga 2 go now offers many products, including practice tools, accessories, jewelry, and apparel, and are available nationally and online.  The Practice System retails for $29.95.

  1. When my son takes his morning nap I try to set aside a little time to take in the day. At the end of the day while I’m laying in bed I take a few deep breaths to clear out the day!

  2. I have yet to fit in time to exercise… my daughter is 6 weeks old, and my son is 2. But, I do try to get up early, when it is quiet, to have some hot tea and read a magazine. Usually just 5-10 minutes, but every minute helps!

  3. To relax, I curl up with a good book and a bowl of cereal. Its my thing.

  4. I really don’t ever get any “me” time…. but the other day, when my husband was home with the kids, I just walked outside and sat in my car, enjoying some peace and quiet. No one could find me… haha!!

  5. I try to take the time before the dogs get up for the day. It is the only quiet time. They are a bigger pain than kids!

I have to get up early to take my little sister to school. (shes still in high school and stays with me) when I get back I have about 30 mins of nothingness to fill. I go outside and stretch and play with the dogs. it gives me excersice and gives the dogs something to wag their tail about! not to mention it is always a good thing to get some fresh air.
try stretching outside next time. you dont get as bored as easily and as long as its not hot it actually makes me feel more fresh and ready to go.
15 mins outside = 2 cups of coffe – the drag later on!

  7. I am a big fan of yoga for both exercise and relaxation. I find the time by actually putting it into my schedule as an appointment. I am less likely to come up with a reason to blow it off that way. I just make an appointment with myself

  8. I like to relax with a restorative Yoga pose where I put my legs up on the wall and put a cushion under my bottom. I close my eyes and breathe deeply. Sounds wierd, but it’s very relaxing.

  9. My boys know I really want to get fit so I try to walk on the treadmill and watch Nick Jr with them in the evening. This way we can be together and I get my exercise.

  10. Oh it sounds corny..but,really..deep breathing helps…Just concentrating on the “in through the nose, out through the mouth” really does calm me down

  11. Long walks in the park is really healthy for the mind and body. Especially in cool weather during the fall months. It feels great with the wind blowing as you walk or jog.
