Since high school, I’ve used the same brand of makeup. I’ve also used liquid foundation for ten or more years. I was recently introduced to e.l.f. Mineral Makeup (“e.l.f.” stands for eyes, lip, face).  I LOVE their makeup and have used it every day since the day I received it (for the past few months). I had never used mineral makeup before, but now that I have, I refuse to go back to liquid foundation! I received a few goodies from e.l.f., including a Mineral Makeup Starter Kit for fair skin, Super Glossy Lip Shine – SPF 15, and Mineral Booster!

E.L.F. Mineral Starter Kit

I love the Mineral Makeup and will definitely be buying more of it in the future.  It goes on easily and feels so light, even though I am still wearing makeup!  I feel like my skin can breathe while I’m wearing the mineral makeup.  The Mineral Makeup Starter Kit is great for anyone who has not used mineral makeup before and wants to get the basics.  The starter kit includes Mineral Foundation – SPF 15, Mineral Concealer – SPF 15, Mineral Blush, Total Face Brush, Blush Brush, and a Canvas Case.  I also love that the starter kit comes with brushes.  It makes it a little difficult to apply mineral makeup without the brushes, so this is a great start!!  I also love that the Natural Mineral Makeup from e.l.f. is 100% mineral based with no parabens, no preservatives, and no chemical dyes – great if you have sensitive skin like I do!

I also received Super Glossy Lip Shine – SPF 15 in the Honey Do color, which I love.  It’s great for the days I don’t feel like putting on lipstick, but still want my lips to be colorful and glossy!  I also use it over my lipstick when I really want the lipstick color to stand out.  I love that it comes in a mess-proof tube and even tastes good if I lick my lips!

    I would love to win this contest because I have been unable to find another part time job to replace the one I recently lost and so I am having a difficult time budgeting for Christmas shopping. This would make the PERFECT gift for my brothers girlfriend who has started joining us for the holidays – I have to get her something and what girl doesn’t love her makeup!

    I’m going to buy that red carpet stain for lips. Lord knows this last pup has left enough stains on the carpet, although none are red.

    I just purchased their “50$ grab bag” for my daughter’s 18th birthday. If you have a make up Junkie.. THIS is the bag to get them. It has everything in there.. 50 different items of make up.. she is in hog heaven!

    I’d love to try the eyelash curler that they have, this think looks amazing! I got that for my daughter was well.

    OMG! I just ordered all of my makeup brushes for $1.00 a piece at e.l.f!! Plus, I got almost everything for a buck! They must be having some kind of dollar sale, but I’d go check it out NOW if I were you. I purchased 27 products, makeup, brushes, eyebrow stencil kit, the “Dump Bag”, bath & body products, lip gloss, the total came to $42.00!!! I’m so stoked!

    As for what I’m looking forward to trying most, it’s the Clarifying Pressed Powder!

    I also LOVE e.l.f. makeup!! I ran across it on another blog and I feel in love. I use mostly their eye shadows and nail polish I haven’t ventrued into their foundation yet cause I love bare minerals, but someday I will try it!

    The next thing on my list of to buy is the Nail Polish Removal Pads they look quick and easy!

    I like you were, I have used the same make-up for years. Just have been satisfied and have never really tried to change. I too am still a liquid foundation user. I’m ready for that change. I would
    really like to try e.l.f.’s mineral foundation. On your adivce, I would purchase the starter kit. I will need the applications brushes. This kit seem to have it all!
