I would love to go to Cooking School someday, whether it’s a few years long or just a session.  I love learning new things about cooking!  Next weekend, on October 16th and 17th, the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel will be presenting their Cooking School Weekend.  I have to say that I lived near there, I would be enrolling for the weekend!  Guests will be welcomed with a Wine Tasting Reception – I believe they’ll have beverages other than wine for those who don’t drink alcohol.  A cooking demonstration with the Hotel’s very own Chef Nathan Read will be presented the following morning.  He will teach participants how to prepare the appetizers that were served at the Reception.  On Saturday evening, participants will enjoy a four-course dinner paired with appropriate wines.  The following morning, participants will learn how to prepare the featured meal from dinner.

Here is a sample of some of the yummy foods that will be prepared and demonstrated over the weekend: Smoked Potato and Ham Soup, Midwest Bison Short Ribs, Apple Normandy for Dessert, Shrimp Fritters with Green Chile Salsa, Wild Mushroom Risotto, and more!!

This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to dazzle your family and friends with your cooking skills during the upcoming holiday season!  This one-of-a-kind opportunity includes deluxe accommodations at the Hilton Branson Convention Center for two people Friday and Saturday evening.  The cost is $398.00 plus tax for both nights!  Not only will you experience the Cooking Show and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel, but you’ll also have easy access to boutiques, restaurants, shops, a river walk, and more!  The Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel is also within easy driving distance of Branson’s championship golf courses, lakes, museums, and 49 live entertainment theaters.

I would love to learn how to make the Appetizers from the Reception and the Main Course of the Four-Course Dinner from Saturday evening.  Whoever is planning on attending this event is sure to have a blast!!

  1. This SO looks like something The Hubs & I would LOVE to do… I really wish we were closer to Branson…. We went to a wine tasting this past weekend at a local winery and had a great time, and went to a cooking/paring class together several years ago that was hosted by Disney World.
I sure hope something like this comes to an area around here!
