“Sleepy Sun” Children’s Book Review
Thanks to Mama Buzz, I had the opportunity to review a children’s book called Sleepy Sun, written by Mari Priscilla Hanson. I liked the story line – about the sun who has had a busy day and is sleepy and ready for bed. It is a great bedtime story to read to children. I also found the artwork different from other children’s books, not in a bad way either. I liked the art work, which was done by Kathleen M. Hanson. It had an artistic feel to it.
The summary of the book reads: “Sleepy Sun is a beautiful and imaginative bedtime story beloved by children everywhere. With vivid illustrations, this engaging poetic adventure allows children to follow the sun throughout its busy day. It shines on snow capped mountains, heats up the scenic desert, and brightens a lively city… The sun entertains while visiting places all over the world! When the sun’s day is finished, it is time to go to sleep.”
I enjoyed this book and think you will also enjoy reading it to your children and grandchildren.
I received a signed copy of “Sleepy Sun” and participated in a review through Mama Buzz for this post.
