Breast Cancer Awareness is near and dear to my heart. It’s a personal story on many levels. I am knitting hats, fingerless gloves and shawls in pink and cheerful bright and funky colors to be donated to our local Breast Cancer Treatment Center.
We are a firm believer in Breast Cancer Awareness all year round. My family and I participate in walks, volunteering of our time to help those fighting this dreadful disease. We help in celebrating with those who are beating it and surviving, we also do what we can to remember those that we’ve lost to this hideous disease.
I believe, as my friends well know, in breast health awareness. I harp on them enough! LOL but they know how important it is. They too do what they can, when they can, where they can to join in the fight against Breast Cancer.
I encourage every woman, man and child, whether you have been touched by this, know someone who has or otherwise to take a stand, make a difference, do what you can, when you can, where you can to bring an end to this disease.

I get mammograms and I always donate to my cousin in FL who is in a breast cancer walk every year. I have pushed my sister to get a mammogram, too.
