My kids love watching “The Backyardigans” and it’s a program I don’t mind them watching (aka I like to listen to the songs and music from the show). I had the opportunity to review “The Backyardigans: Singing Sensation!” on DVD. The DVD was released on August 4th, 2009 and is a great show by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment!!

You’ll love the music – from rock to jazz to mambo and more! Your kids will enjoy singing with the Backyardigans and going on adventures with them in the new DVD “The Backyardigans: Singing Sensation!” This DVD features over 20 animated music video adventures from the first three seasons of the Emmy Award-winning preschool show. While watching the show, your kids can pretend to be a reggae-singing pirate or a funk-loving astronaut. Ride the range with some hip-hopping cowboys or perform a rock operetta as a mightyknight encountering an even mightier dragon…and more! The DVD features four “pods” of videos, each with a different musical theme.
