Thanks to Mom Central, I was recently introduced to a new promotion by Clorox for the “What to Expect Guide to a Healthy Home Growth Chart!” In the free guide, there is helpful information on your child’s growth and how to keep them healthy at home. I love some of the tips offered in the guide. One says “Hand washing is the most effective way to help keep germs from spreading. Make hand washing a house rule.” Another one says “Keeping those hard toys clean is as easy as washing them in soapy water (rinse well) or just tossing them in the dishwasher.” I know that hand washing is important in our home and I make good use of sanitizing wipes (especially on toys from garage sales or after playdates).
I also love the Healthy Home Growth Chart provided in the guide. It gives tips for keeping your little ones healthy as they grow through the years. For example, at age 1 month, it gives a tip on keeping bottles clean and at age 5, they suggest bringing hand wipes or hand sanitizer along with you on outings. What a great guide for any parent with young kids! It’s also a great tool for childcare providers!
