I have met so many wonderful people through blogging and decided that I wanted to start a new meme called “Featured Blogger Friday.” This will give everyone a chance to meet some of the great bloggers that are out there! π This week, The Mommy-Files is featuring Jessica of “This, That & My Blog” by a fellow Mommy Blogger. Here is a little bit about This, That & My Blog.
What made you choose the name of your blog?
I wanted something fun and different. I happened to be on a website where I noticed the saying “This, That & The Other” and that’s when I thought of “This, That & My Blog.” I think it’s the perfect fit!
Who designed your blog?
I actually designed my own blog. I have my own design business: This, That & Your Blog – I was pretty decently priced & quite easy to work with, too! π
Why do you blog?
It’s the one place where I can express what I’m thinking whenever I’m thinking it! I can write about anything and everything and not worry about meeting the needs of a certain type of audience. Blog readers are very supportive and great online friends!
What is the purpose of your blog?
At first the purpose was to keep my family up to date on the latest in my world, but it slowly evolved into something different. Now it’s more about sharing things I’m interested in, whether it’s TV, crafts, websites, movies…anything!
Do you have any blogging tips (i.e. from those getting started to those who have been blogging longer than you)?
Don’t worry about not having a purpose for your blog, you’ll find one soon! You’ll find what you’re most comfortable sharing and what you’d rather keep to yourself. You’ll also capture an audience no matter what – as long as you’re REAL. You’ll meet many amazing new people doing this too, so enjoy it!

I’m not married.

And I don’t have kiddos!
What is your favorite movie of all time?
I’m just a sucker for any romantic comedy!
Who is your favorite actor?
Matthew McConaughey (I see your heads nodding, ladies!)
What is your favorite dessert?
Anything with chocolate…I mean anything.
What is your favorite holiday?
I love, love, love 4th of July & Christmas!

1) Morning: Milky Way
