"DOLLHOUSE: SEASON ONE" REVIEW
I was introduced to a television show called “Dollhouse: Season One
” and had the opportunity to watch and review it. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it. However, I must say that I really enjoyed watching the episodes. I found myself wanting to know what would happen next. I never had the feeling of “When is this going to be over?” It was a very interesting show and I would watch more!
Eliza Dusku stars in this all-new Thrilling Fantasy Drama, which arrived on Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, July 28th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. It has tons of bonus materials, including “Epitaph One” and the original unaired pilot “Echo” – both of which have never been seen before!
In “Dollhouse: Season One,” you get a glimpse of a world where the wealthy, powerful, and connected come to play. Eliza Dushku stars as Echo, just one of the Dollhouse members working for an illegal underground organization that implants employees with false memories and skills in order to perform various missions and dangerous tasks. These “dolls” can become anything that anyone desires: a lover, a fighter, an assassin, a best friend…anything! Once their assignment has been completed, the dolls have their memories wiped clean and are then released back into the “Dollhouse” to cohabitate with the other dolls under the watchful eye of those in charge. However, Echo is slowly starting to become aware of herself and her surroundings and there is one outsider who will stop at nothing to bring the entire “Dollhouse” down.
“Dollhouse: Season One” comes from the mastermind behind “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” – Joss Whedon. The show stars Olivia Williams (The Sixth Sense, Rushmore), Harry Lennix (State of Play, Across the Universe), Amy Acker (“Angel”), and Tahmoh Penikett (“Battlestar Galactica”).
