Memorial is a day we celebrate in the United States. It is a day when post offices are closed, banks are closed, and many businesses are closed so that we have a chance to honor those fallen soldiers and spend time with our families. On Memorial Day, we have the opportunity to recognize those brave men and women who have fought for the freedoms we enjoy in this beautiful country and pay tribute to those soldiers in the military whose lives were lost!

Every time I see a man or woman in uniform, it brings me to tears – knowing the sacrifices they make, the families they leave behind, and the bravery they show their country! The next time you see a man or woman in the military, be sure to take a minute, stop, and shake their hand – thanking them for their dedicated service to our country.

Enjoy this Memorial Day tribute! **It says Veteran’s Day at the end, but it still has the same meaning and emotional effect.**
