MOVIE REVIEW – "Twilight"
OK – so I started reading the book, “Twilight” a while back and could not get through it. The whole time I was like, “what in the world – what a freak!” “He watches her sleep! Are you kidding me?” Meanwhile, every other female around me (both adolescent and grown) were IN LOVE with Edward! I just couldn’t understand it – granted I didn’t finish the book! I thought maybe I missed something?
I originally watched the movie in the theater and actually liked it. At first, Edward was kind of a freak, but I found that myself, along with a hand full of people were laughing at the “awkward” moments in the movie (i.e. when Bella sits down at the table in the science lab and Edward just STARES at her or when he tells her to stay away from him, but it’s him who is always approaching her?). Or when he calls her spider-monkey? How about the guy who looks like he is always in pain?
Now, even though I was skeptical when I first went into the movie, I actually really enjoyed it! I know, I know.
Well, I watched it again at a friend’s house last night. This time, I couldn’t help but notice how attractive the dad was? OK, am I getting old if I thought the dad was cute?! Plus, I was the first to notice Edward’s arm hair and chest hair. OK, now that I’ve said it, you’re probably going to look for the same thing when you watch it next.
With all said and done, I think I’m going to try and read “Twilight” again – especially since I want to know what happens next!
I adored the Twilight series and I can’t wait till New Moon comes out in November. How about reviewing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs or Where the Wild Things Are.
I cannot get enough of the movie Twilight. This is the best movie that i have ever watched. I love the chemistry between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson !
Time to go see New Moon and write a review if you get a chance. Wondering what you think of it and did you like the books? I thought the books were great and I couldn’t stop reading them.
