Kids Say the Darndest Things!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted giveaways in a few days. My 3 boys and I are visiting my parents in California for a short time.

We flew on a plane yesterday from Washington to California – straight flight that was 2 hours long. I always get nervous when I get on a plane, fearing it will crash or break in half or something like that – I blame that on “Lost” – lol. On the flight, there was a LOT of turbulence! A couple of times the cabin was really rockin’ and then there was a drop. Talk about my heart racing – that was pretty scary! My parents fly a lot so it didn’t really bother them.

My oldest son was sitting next to my dad and looking for houses and cars and land. Then he says, “Wow…that’s a long drop!” A bunch of people started to giggle while holding their breath for the next episode of shaking and dropping.

Then we saw a rainbow out on our side of the plane. The kids really thought it was great and enjoyed pointing out the different colors. Then my second son said, “I really want to slide down the rainbow.”

I love our boys and am amazed at all the new perspectives on life that they bring to our family!
