Tasty Tips Tuesday
The other day, we were eating a yummy soup I had prepared for dinner. When I looked up, my 3 year old son was shaking the salt shaker over his soup. I’m not sure how long he was doing this for, but when I tasted it, ALL I tasted was salt – yuck!
He only had a little bit of soup left and I still had a bowl full. So I took his and mixed it with mine. Didn’t help much at all. It was still very salty. We ended up tossing half of it.
If only I had known this helpful tip:
– If you’ve added too much salt, try adding a little sugar.
– If you’re cooking and have added too much salt, add a raw potato slice. It will help to absorb the salt.
