It’s amazing how much one little kiss could make your child feel all better! When your kids are little, mommy’s kisses make everything better.

Unfortunately, children do grow out of it. Just the other day, my second son scraped his arm. I offered to “kiss it all better.” After I kissed him, he looked at me, with his nose still scrunched, and said “It still hurts.”

My heart sunk to the ground – knowing that mommy’s “healing kisses” would no longer work. The next step was Bactine and the Batman band-aids. That did a little better, but only for a little while.
