Yesterday, George and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. 9 years ago yesterday, we were married for time and eternity in the Oakland LDS Temple in Oakland, California.

Since we got married during a holiday break (we were both going to college when we were married and the break worked out perfectly), finding a babysitter was almost impossible! After calling around all day on Tuesday, I finally found 2 young men (brothers) from church to keep an eye on the kiddos at home while we went out for dinner.

Luckily, Sam fell asleep right before we left and the boys were well behaved for their babysitters. They had a blast playing Candyland and coloring with the young men!

It was nice to have a couple of hours to ourselves and sit in a restaurant without the kids.

Then yesterday, on our actually anniversary, we made it a family affair and ate Polish dogs and pizza at Costco. A well spent $8.00 for dinner for a family of 5 (with 4 actually eating the food)!
