The neighborhood to the south of town has a stunning number of preserved historic buildings and homes that span late 19th- and early 20th-century styles. It’s an incredible chance to take a stroll through time with no time machines.

San Antonio’s past is a big draw for tourists and locals, but the city also has plenty to show for in the current year. It’s where nature meets thrills–SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, with their heart-pounding coasters and entertainment, will make your day unforgettable.

To unwind with something tranquil after a long day of adventuring, take a walk down the River Walk. This majestic 3-mile-long path runs alongside the San Antonio River and flows through downtown. It is teeming with eateries, stores, and pubs. You’ll find that it’s exactly what you’d need for a slow walk or romantic date.

A lover of the great outdoors is right at home in San Antonio, Texas. If you adore nature, you can walk through lush parks and colorful gardens. Go for a stroll, ride a bike, or take on a challenging hike. The city’s place in the Texas Hill Country creates endless opportunities to marvel at the state’s one-of-a-kind landscape that screams “Texas.”
