Today, on Redhead Mom, I’m sharing a partnered guest post about Essential Spring-Cleaning Tips.

Spring Cleaning House When was the last time you spring cleaned your home? If it’s been more than a year, it’s about time you begin the process.  Spring cleaning is essential for everyone. The ongoing COVID-19 situation, too, has called for cleaning and sanitizing every nook and cranny of your living space. You owe a deep cleaning session not only to yourself but to your family as well.  Living in a healthy home isn’t a task anymore. Here are some spring-cleaning tips that you can work on and maintain a clean and sparkling home.

Divide Your Cleaning Sessions Spring cleaning sessions need not be a marathon anymore if you break it down into chunks. Proper planning can make it as clean as if you did pressure washing Houston Texas. The process is simple. Spare 10-15 minutes of your day and focus on the below-mentioned areas to begin with. Dust out the sofas, chairs and cabinets using a dusting wand. Clean the doors and switch plates using a damp microfiber cloth. Make sure to remove smudges and fingerprints. Reach out to the areas such as your ceiling fans and baseboards using the same type of cloth.

Declutter the Mess According to a study, a disorganized living space can increase your stress levels. Now that you are spending more time at home than at work, it’s time to declutter the mess everywhere in your living space.  Organize the bookshelf. Peek through a junk drawer and sort all the stuff. Organize your closets, cabinets, and all the areas full of big and small things.

Don’t Forget Walls and Windows  Your walls and windows need some love too. Do not forget to clean these areas like you clean the other surfaces during your cleaning spree. You can either use a damp towel to wipe down the blinds, walls, doors and windows or buy a microfiber cloth and use it instead.  But when you clean the windows, do not use a chemical cleaner. You can substitute a chemical solution with a steam cleaner without compromising the outcome.

Focus on Kitchen and Bathroom The kitchen and bathroom are the two most crucial areas of any home. And now that you are setting out on a spring-cleaning mission, missing these areas is a big no-no. You can use cleaning tools and equipment by Vileda Canada for cleaning these areas effectively. Wipe down your cabinets, shelves, and refrigerator. Clean the kitchen countertop thoroughly. Clean the bathroom tiles using a bathroom scrub brush. Change the shower curtains, and clean all the hard-to-reach areas using a cleaning tool. Don’t forget to use air fresheners to neutralize the odor.

Take Care of the Air Last but not least, make sure that you also do furnace repair and furnace maintenance of your home during the cleaning process. Overlooking these systems may cost you later. You can replace your standard filters with the ones that come with a high MERV rating.  If this looks like a complicated task to you, you can hire a professional air conditioning repair technician like SALT AC Services who provides Furnace Installation services in Twin Falls to service your HVAC system. These heating and air conditioning repair services will take care of the dust, dirt, debris, and other elements built in your system and clean them effectively. So if you need professional HVAC repair and maintenance, you may consider getting help from Sullivan’s Island, SC HVAC maintenance services.

Takeaway Performing deep cleaning of your home may look like an uphill battle, but if you follow the above-listed instructions, the process will become easier. However, if you don’t have the time to do the cleaning yourself, then you may consider hiring expert residential cleaning services. So what are you waiting for? Pick up your cleaning tools and spring clean your home to perfection.  [wl_faceted_search]

I’ve been doing spring cleaning, including today. Trying to be thorough, and wow, it takes longer than you’d guess to do this level of detail. But the results are so worth it.
