Enjoy Family Memories with Snaptiles

As a mother and blogger, I take a LOT of pictures! While our kids may get annoyed from time to time, they are always eager to see the pictures after I’ve taken them. I also learned about the family photographers in Raleigh, NC that can capture a great family image.

Growing up, I remember our school pictures being put up on shelves and changed out each year. With 6 kids and not a lot of shelf room, that can pose as a challenge. So what do I do with those great pictures I’ve taken where we can enjoy them? That’s where Snaptiles comes into play.

Our oldest daughter is currently serving in the United States Army and is completing her Basic Training in Missouri. She will be coming home for the holidays and I wanted to put together a display of some pictures for her in her room that she could enjoy when she’s visiting. I chose some photos from our family celebration before she left for Basic Training and they turned out great on the Snaptiles! Plus, it was fun putting together the display and I can change it around into the different shapes I want (or she wants when she comes home).

I love the idea behind Snaptiles and want to do some more of our family pictures to hang on our walls throughout our home! The process of ordering is quick and easy! Just select the pictures you would like to print out on the Snaptiles and then place your order and wait for your order to arrive. The Snaptiles were well packed and arrived quickly.

Our Snaptiles arrived in a box with packing foam. Each Snaptile had a cover on it – protecting the pictures during the shipping process. On the cover, there is a hashtag you can use on social media so you can share your Snaptile Creation and see what others have shared as well.

Our Snaptiles order came with a wall mount that we used to hang our anchor picture on the wall. Each wall mount supports up to 25 tiles on most walls! That may sound like a lot of Snaptiles, but once you start placing them, you’ll see why it would be easy to have a lot of Snaptiles in your display! We chose 9 pictures for our Snaptiles display and it turned out great! I was a little nervous about hanging the wall mount because my husband normally hangs pictures, but it was easy!

Step 1 – Adhere the Wall Mount. Decide where on the wall you want to place the Snaptiles display. We chose to place it in our daughter’s room next to her side of the bed. Peel the backing from the adhesive strips on the wall mount and position it on the wall using the built-in level. Once you see the bubble in between the two lines, you’ll know it’s straight. Firmly push against all 4 strips on the wall for 10 seconds. For additional support, you can screw the wall mount onto the wall using the holes provided. Your wall mount is now in position. Then, use shoulder screws to keep them in place.

Step 2 – Mount the Anchor Tile. Now it’s time to put up your anchor picture. Choose a tile that you would like to be the anchor tile. Tear out the two rectangles on the back of the tile. Align the tearaway slots on the back of the tile with the top of the clips and then slide downward to lock firmly onto the wall mount.

Step 3 – Get Snappin’. Now it’s time to snap together your other tiles onto the first tile. This part was really cool because the photos have magnets on them that keep them together. Are you wondering how Snaptiles are able to snap together and stay in place on the wall? Snaptiles are printed on a premium SBS Acid Free archival paperboard and have a luxurious soft touch UV lamination, which makes them feel great while protecting them from fading. They are designed to be super lightweight so you can snap multiple tiles to the “anchor” tile. All 4 sides are lined with rare earth magnets. I loved the sound of the photos snapping together and so will you!

I love Snaptiles and really want to get some more to hang up family photos around our house. I love how easy they were to mount on the wall and how fun it is to create displays on the wall. I think these would make a great holiday gift as well!
