Strawberry Wafer Birthday Candle Cupcakes
This is a partnered post with Voortman Bakery.
Since I was a young girl, I loved to eat chocolate, vanilla and strawberry wafers. Now as a mom with children of my own, I still love to eat wafers and so do our kids! In May, I discovered Voortman Bakery and their variety of wafers (specifically the S’mores flavors). This month, I discovered the Voortman Strawberry Wafers and they are delicious!
The Voortman Strawberry Wafers are one of my favorites! I love them not only because they are yummy, but because they are baked with real strawberries! At Voortman Bakery, they believe in real ingredients. Simple, real ingredients are what make their cookies so remarkably delicious. Their wafers have no artificial colors or flavors AND no high-fructose corn syrup.
At Voortman Bakery, they believe in the art of baking. Plus, their bakers love to bake! From creating new and exciting flavor combinations to constantly reviewing their recipes, their bakers are real cookie connoisseurs! They believe that cookies should taste delicious. I love that Voortman Bakery is committed to giving uncompromising quality, flavor, and simply better cookies to their customers. At Voortman Bakery, they believe that REAL bakes better.
HISTORY OF VOORTMAN BAKERY
I like to learn about the history behind the brands that I love! Voortman Cookies began in 1951 when two young Dutch brothers, William and Harry Voortman, opened their first bakery in Hamilton, Ontario. It took five years of dedicated baking and hard work before a Canadian grocery chain agreed to give Voortman Cookies shelf space in their stores!
Even though their name has changed, their commitment to using simple, real ingredients has not. At Voortman Bakery, quality and taste has always been and always will be their top priority. From their classic Windmill cookies to their new Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, they’re constantly reinventing what delicious tastes like!
Well, those are just about the cutest things ever! I love how they turned out, and I LOVE that you cut off the ends on an angle. I love that because someone has to EAT those little ends. It’s me. I’m that someone…
Wow, these strawberry cupcakes look so good! I would totally love to bite into one of them wafters about now.
I’ve always loved wafers. The usual ones were vanilla and chocolate. Strawberry sounds incredibly delicious.
Wow! I love the look of those cupcakes! Adding the wafers to them is a great touch.
What a cute way to use those wafers! I always loved the strawberry ones the best. I’d eat the icing out first, then would eat the wafer cookie last. Nom!
There’s a cooking spray with flour in it? I’m going to look for it! I love wafers, strawberry is my fave and if they’re made with real strawberries (yay!) all the better!
Totally love the flavors and incorporating these yummy wafers in cupcakes is such an awesome idea! I appreciate the recipe, it’s perfect for parties or if you really just want to treat yourself to a yummy cupcake!
Oh my gosh yum! These look delicious, my kiddos love wafers!
With our son’s first bday coming up this is timely and perfect! Just gotta change the icing color to blue. Thank you!
That looks divine. I love anything strawberry flavored. I’m not sure I could get my icing to look that pretty but I’m willing to give it a try for the grandkids.
This actually looks really yummy! I love snacking on wafers.
These strawberry wafer cookies are some of my favorites, so good!
I’ve never tried strawberry wafers. I’ve seen this brand in the grocery store all the time. I love how creative you got with the wafers.
These cookies are so good. They are still one of my favorites because they are light and crispy. Plus, they are sweet without being over the top if you know what I mean.
I love the concept of these cupcakes. Fun i would of never thought to make these wafers into fun cupcakes!
