I love Christmas! The music, decorations, wrapping paper, gifts, the ornaments…all of these I look forward to with the Christmas season. Even though it’s October, I’m starting to see Christmas goodies in the stores. You know what else October is? It’s National Bullying Prevention Month. So how do National Bullying Prevention Month and Christmas come together? When we decorate our Christmas tree, we remember something special about each ornament that is hung up on the tree. I mean, I can tell you that it takes a lot longer to decorate our tree because I reminisce over the memories that each ornament has – because every ornament tells a story! And here’s a new one that’s sure to become a family favorite – Oliver the Ornament.

One of People magazine’s best new books of 2016, Oliver the Ornament is the first in a 7-book series focusing on the Nelson family’s collection of ornaments and their stories. Oliver has been with the family since Mom and Dad’s very first date. Years later, Oliver, now injured and bullied, still has the magic of Christmas in his heart. The story follows Oliver’s excitement for Christmas, his heartbreak, and his determination to overcome all odds to save the day. Oliver, along with his friends, will warm your heart with his kindness, humility and lover for his family and friends.  It’s a story that will bring families together to tell stories of their own ornaments and the special meaning that so many of them possess.

Oliver the Ornament

Oliver the Ornament’s story is a heartwarming one focused on the Nelson family’s cherished Christmas ornaments. Oliver was the first one to join the family, but this year, some of the later arrivals are bullying him and keeping him from his rightful place on the tree. Other friends step in to save the (holi)day, and all ends well.

People magazine named Oliver the Ornament one of its best new books of 2016, and store owners are saying the product line will be the next big thing in Christmas. Oliver’s message shouldn’t be stuck in a box and brought out only in December.

Oliver the Ornament is the first of 7 books and part of a large product line that amplifies the kindness message. The creators of Oliver the Ornament already donate a portion of each book sold to children’s charities and will increase that portion with each book until the last one when all proceeds go to charity. How awesome is that???!!!

The Oliver the Ornament gift set (book and ornament) is $29.95. Other items are available as well, starting at $14.95. You can even send a book to sick child via the site. You can purchase Oliver the Ornament from Oliver directly, at a store near you, or on Amazon.
