Back to School – Keeping Kids Healthy When #SickJustGotReal + Giveaway
This post has been sponsored by Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. All thoughts and reviews are my own. #SickJustGotReal
It’s so hard to believe that our kids are back in school. I don’t know about you, but it was somewhat bittersweet for me. We had a great summer and I enjoyed having the kids at home with us. Now that they’re back in school, life is pretty busy again. Complete with homework, science projects, school activities and more, the days seem to go by really fast! While back to school can mean new shoes, clothes, backpacks, as well as what every parent dreads…new germs. Yuck! One illness common in kids that’s caused by bacteria is strep throat. If your child shows signs and symptoms of strep throat, you may want to schedule him/her for a rapid pediatric strep exam.
It’s amazing how the sickies tend to spread so quickly at this time of year! As the summer days slowly fade, and fall and cold season begin, it is super important to have essentials on hand to get our kids back on track for school learning and spending time with their friends in school. The Pfizer Pediatric team wants to make that the back to school season goes as smoothly as possible with Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin®, and Children’s Dimetapp® when sick gets real.
When sick gets real, the pediatric brands of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare are there with three solutions – Children’s Advil®, Children’s Robitussin® and Children’s Dimetapp® – to tackle the ickiest of symptoms.
Ease those aches and pains, while reducing a child’s fever fast with Children’s Advil®*, a great solution for kids as young as 2 and up to 11. Children’s Advil® comes in several great-tasting flavors, including: Sugar-free Dye-free Berry, Bubble Gum, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Fruit and Dye-Free White Grape flavors. There’s also Infants’ Advil® White Grape, which provides unsurpassed fever relief (among OTC pain relievers) with a syringe for easy dosing for children 6-23 months.
*Children’s Advil® is used for aches and pains such a headaches, flu, common cold, or tooth aches. This product is not indicated to treat other illnesses such a strep throat, earache, etc.
For your child’s cough, trust Children‘s Robitussin® Extended-Release 12 Hour Cough Relief to control and relieve symptoms all-day or all- night. Available in grape or orange flavor, for children ages 4 and up. Please note, certain Children‘s Robitussin® products are only suitable for children ages 6 and up.
Children’s Dimetapp® Multi-Symptom Cold Relief Dye-Free eases your child’s stuffy and runny nose, while quieting a bothersome cough. All in a great-tasting grape flavor that’s dye-free, for children ages 6 and up.
**It is important to remember to always read and keep the cartons for complete warnings and dosing information on Pfizer Pediatric products and to use as directed.
