Summertime is here and the kids are immersing themselves in video games and YouTube. While these can be fun, wouldn’t you feel better if they were playing with technology AND learning something? I know I would! This year, our 5th grader took a Coding class at school and he talked about what he learned at dinner. This peaked the interest in our youngest son. Unfortunately, our 9 year old is not old enough to take the Coding Class at school, however, he can still learn coding!

Thanks to Best Buy, we had the opportunity to check out the Ozobot Evo. Our 9 year old (and 11 year old) loved it!!! I recently learned STEM (when I read about Kamau Bobb), which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEM products encourage kids to develop core skills in these areas. At Best Buy, you’ll find products from basic learning games to advanced toys designed to stimulate a child‘s mind in the STEM areas, helping to develop logic and problem solving skills.
