I love the holidays and everything about them! It all starts with Thanksgiving. On this day, we start cooking early in the morning (sometimes even the day before). Throughout the day, we snack on different appetizers and visit with family and friends. The day ends eating a lot of amazing food, loosening your pants and relaxing after a big meal. Sometimes with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, our pets get pushed to the background. They don’t get all the love and attention they normally would. It’s not because we don’t love them, but rather because the day gets away from us with all the busy activities going on.
Our pets are just as important as all the members in the family and we don’t want them to feel forgotten during the holidays. So let’s make it a goal to include them in our holiday activities! Here are 3 ways to include your pets during the holidays:

I love this! Of course our furry friends need to be included in our holiday fun! One of my favorite things to do is put together stockings and either put doggie treats in the bottom or cat nip and let them get all excited over the smell. They go crazy opening the stockings every year, lol.
We include our dog in the holiday by wrapping treats for him.
We get them stockings filled with special treats and toys!

My cats have a stocking and I stuff it with cat treats for Christmas.

My Cujo goes every where with me. He is almost like a third arm. He is there when I wrap presents. I gave him a bow to play with. He rip the gift wrapping paper into a million pieces when presents were being open. He got a little bite of ham at dinner time.
