It’s hard to believe that our kids have already head back to school! We had a great summer – filled with swimming, bowling, and lots of other fun adventures, but now it’s time to get back to the books. As part of our process of getting ready for school, we take the kids to get clothes, school supplies and all the goodies for their lunches. In addition to getting them ready for school, I like to get ready for school too with easy meals during the busy week! One of my favorite stores to shop at is VONS. Not only is it in close proximity to our house, but it also has great sales and I know a lot of the people who work there.

I recently headed to VONS and picked up a variety of Nestlé products, including STOUFFER’S® Party Size Lasagna, NESTLÉ® Fun Size Candy (NESTLÉ® BUTTERFINGER® and NESTLÉ® BABY RUTH®), NESTLÉ® NESQUIK® Ready to Drink Chocolate Milks and NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Refrigerated Cookie Dough. During the week, it can get really busy and I’ve found that time goes by very quickly after picking up kids from school and helping with homework. For those nights where we want a yummy and hearty meal, but don’t have a lot of time, we cook up a STOUFFER’S® Party Size Lasagna (the perfect size for our family of 8). Along with it, I like to serve a freshly made Rainbow Pasta Salad. For an after-dinner treat, we have freshly baked cookies to snack on. Throughout the day, our kids love to drink chocolate milk and the NESTLÉ® NESQUIK® Ready to Drink Chocolate Milks are the perfect drinks to enjoy! Plus, the NESTLÉ® Fun Size Candy bags are the perfect chocolatey treat to snack on during the day or at night.

Cooking up the STOUFFER’S® Party Size Lasagna is really easy, but does require some time to heat up in the oven (about 75 minutes or more). We love the flavor of the lasagna and if you have kids, you know it’s always a great thing when you discover a meal that everyone likes! As I mentioned above, I like to serve the lasagna with Rainbow Pasta Salad. It’s yummy and easy to make!
