When I was a kid, I used to have a Nintendo system and I loved playing on it. Now, one generation later, our children enjoy playing Nintendo as well – in the handheld version of the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo 3DS is an awesome game system and features 3D, 2D and the regular video screen. Our kids love playing all sorts of different games on it. With the busy-ness that is in a school day, they really enjoy taking a break, unwinding and letting their imaginations wander.
Thanks to Nintendo and Influence Central, we received Yo-kai Watch for our kids to try out on the Nintendo 3DS. They really loved playing it! Not only does it have a cool intro (with music and a short cartoon clip), but it also let our kids use strategy and their imagination to play the game. In the game, they use their Yo-kai Watch to find Yo-kai troublemakers around town. I like that they have to strategize during the game because they’re not just staring at the screen. They are actually having to think about how to plan their attacks, get the moves they want and keep the troublemakers in check. They can even unleash powerful “Soultimate” moves! Pretty cool, right?
In Japan, Yo-kai Watch is a really big thing, but this is the first time it’s available in the United States. It’s made exclusively for the portable Nintendo 2DS, 3DS family of systems, including the New Nintendo 3DSXL. You can purchase Yo-kai Watch now, both online and wherever video games are sold at a suggested retail price of $39.99. Yo-kai Watch makes a great gift and is great to play when traveling or taking a break from the busy schedules of our kids’ days!
