Can you believe it’s almost the summer? That means lots of traveling and road trips for this big family! We love to go road tripping and camping in our RV! Not only is it super comfy, but it has beds, a bathroom, running water and electricity! Not to mention a little kitchenette and stove with a running refrigerator.  I love it!

Sometimes road trips can take a long time when we’re traveling, especially when we’re driving in the RV (because of its size and the speed limit). So the kids like to play with their electronics (whether it be their tablets, laptops, or Nintendo 3DS XL). That’s right! Our youngest son turned seven and we decided to give him the Nintendo 3DS XL for his birthday. I’m so proud of him though because he’s been super good about sharing it with his brothers and sisters. All of the kids love it!

This is a great game system and our kids love it! I love that they were able to figure out the games right away and love playing together.  It’s great for traveling or playing pretty much anytime! Thank you Nintendo for a great product and great games!

Who in your family would play with the Nintendo 3DS XL?

  1. My son has a 3DS XL and loves it. It is great for car rides and he has a few games that I also enjoy playing.

  2. My seven year old son would flip out over a new DS, especially since his old one is on its last leg. He is also obsessed with all things Pokemon, so those games would be a huge hit too!

  3. I’m pretty sure everyone would play with the Nintendo! My kids are always taking my iPad, so it’s only fair that I nab their Nintendos. So fun!

  4. My oldest has recently become a pretty big gaming fan. So I’m pretty sure he would love this. He had some sort of DS a few years back and played it until it died!

  5. My daughter just has the DS Lite, and wants to upgrade really badly. I think we will when her birthday rolls around. It does sound like a really great gaming system!

  6. I am sure that if we had one, it would either be me, or my grandsons. My husband does play video games, but he is still stuck on PC games on his desktop computer.

  7. Kiddo has a regular DS that stays at her moms house. Since we used to just have her on weekends we don’t really allow video games because we have so many other things going on. Now that we have custody, we still don’t really do the video game thing. There just isn’t time between chores, homework and just living life.
