Last year, Frank and I were introduced to a great restaurant here in town. I honestly never even knew it was there until my dad told me how good the food and service were! And boy was he right!!! We were very impressed with California Grill in Nipomo. It is a clean restaurant with a good selection of burgers and salads (and more) at budget-friendly prices and excellent customer service!
While the location does not stand out (it’s tucked away in a small complex near a laundromat and cell phone store), the food and customer service definitely do! When we go, we like to order the California Burger and the Chicken Caesar Salad. The California Burger is amazing! It has bacon (yeah baby), avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese…and the meat and bun of course. The Chicken Caesar Salad is also yummy! I love the croutons they have in the salad and the way they grill their chicken. We still need to try other items on the menu and will definitely be visiting again soon this year! Thank you California Grill for a delicious burger and salad at a great price! And thank you dad for introducing us to California Grill!

One of their best aspects is that their meat is never frozen. So it’s fresh and you can definitely taste the different. Their hamburgers are gigantic and can feed me for 2 meals. But I must say that I typically get the Cobb salad – delicious!
