Halloween is here and I am excited to announce my second year as a member of the Netflix Stream Team! In our home, we don’t have cable, but we do have Roku and watch Netflix on a regular basis. The kids have their own station and then Frank and I have ours. There is so much to enjoy on Netflix – television shows, movies and more.
One of Frank and my favorite shows is “Orange is the New Black.” I love that show! In fact, I can’t wait until the next season is available for us to watch. A crime she committed in her youthful past sends Piper Chapman (Schilling) to a women’s prison, where she trades her comfortable New York life for one of unexpected camaraderie and conflict in an eccentric group of fellow inmates. It’s a really good show!
After waking up with crazy hair one morning, Frank suggested a Halloween costume idea to me. It was to dress up as Nicky Nicols from “Orange is the New Black.” I loved the idea! So we ordered the costume and I tried it on and wah lah! I was Nicky Nicols from “Orange is the New Black.”
I even tried out the look for another character from “Orange is the New Black” – Alex Vause. I put on our daughter’s wig from her costume and a pair of my glasses. It was perfect! I didn’t wear this costume, but thought it would be a fun addition to this post.

I have not seen this show before, but it sounds like a very good show to watch! I will have to make time to watch it. I like your Halloween costume, Frank sure suggested a good one for you. I did not dress up for Halloween. I handed out candy to the neighbor kids though!

I love Orange is the New Black. We ditched our cable many years ago and it is nice to see that Netflix has improved so much over the years and provides so many great shows to watch.

Great costume idea! I’ve heard a lot about this show and think it’s great that Netfli has gone from DVD’s, to what they are now with streaming and original shows.

I loved watching the first two seasons of Orange is the New Black. I can not wait to see the third season. I dressed up as a hippie this year.
That costume is too cool! My husband and I love that show, so it would have been fun to dress up as one of the inmates!

Orange is the new black is one of mine and Hubby’s favorite shows to watch together. We don’t have cable either. I love the Halloween custome idea. I didn’t dress up. My seven year old daughter did as Anna from frozen.
