Even though our wedding is still 6 months away, I am so excited about the upcoming Big Day! Heck, I have my wedding gown, my veil, my shoes and now my wedding accessories that I got from a local jewelry store. I even have a few wedding outfits planned for our honeymoon cruise. I cannot wait to marry my best friend – one of the best men I know!
It actually happened when I was with one of my bridesmaids who was picking up her dress. I was waiting for her to change and headed over to the jewelry section. There wasn’t a huge selection, but I did find some pieces that caught my attention. The first necklace I chose was pretty on the rack, but when I tried it on, it just didn’t do it for me. It didn’t really go with my wedding gown and wasn’t my favorite. I knew it wasn’t the one!
The second necklace I tried on was gorgeous! It was perfect with my dress (cut similar to my wedding gown). I loved how the necklace was layered and draped across my chest. It wasn’t too much or too little – it was perfect! And it was within my budget – woo hoo!
Then I found a pearl bracelet that went perfectly with the necklace! It has a little bit of bling but doesn’t detract from my wedding gown. It looks really good with my french manicured nails too – ha ha!
The earrings I bought are dangly earrings, but I’m still not 100% sold on them. I was at first, but then one of my bridesmaids suggested I wear Pearl Stud Earrings.
What do you think? Should I go with dangly or studs?

I like the necklace and bracelet that you picked. I like your dress. It is so pretty. But I would opt for stud earrings for your wedding. It is much simpler, but I think it goes with your jewelry that you have picked. But, if you go dangly, I would love to see what pair you picked.

Since the necklace you chose is a little bit more attention capturing I think you should wear pearl studs so it doesn’t take away from the necklace. If you wear dangly earrings people’s attention might be confused as to which piece of jewelry to focus on.

I think it all depends on how you are going to wear your hair. If you are going to wear it down go with studs, up go with dangly. Although you really can’t go wrong either way. 🙂
I absolutely love the necklace and the bracelet, I think your bridesmaid might be right about the ear rings. they don’t look bad or anything, it’s just your necklace and bracelet are pretty and ornate enough they don’t need ornate ear rings as well.

I wore dangly earrings because my hair was pulled up. I don’t know if that helps you decide, though. 🙂

That second necklace is definitely my favorite – so pretty! I would go with studs since you have a longer, more busy necklace.

I would stick with studs with a statement necklace like that. Plus you want folks atring at your dress 🙂
