I love to watch t.v. I do. I admit it. I find it relaxing to escape real life just for those brief minutes and watch the fictional experiences of others. Frank and I especially love to watch shows together once the kids have gone to bed. We’ve enjoyed “Breaking Bad,” “True Blood,” “The Walking Dead” and now, “Orange is the New Black.” I remember asking my friends and family on Facebook what shows they loved to watch and “Orange is the New Black” was listed by several people.
I had started to watch the show on Netflix but was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the first episode as I really had no idea what to expect. I took a break for a few weeks and then tried it again. Honestly, the first episode was definitely a little racy, but once I was into the second episode, I was hooked. I loved the story line and the quirky characters (aka Red and Crazy Eyes) and just loved following along with Piper and her prison experiences.
“Orange is the New Black” has won a dozen Emmy Award nominations for this acclaimed comedy drama series, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Writing and Outstanding Lead Actress for star Taylor Schilling. A crime she committed in her youthful past sends Piper Chapman (Schilling) to a women’s prison, where she trades her comfortable New York life for one of unexpected camaraderie and conflict in an eccentric group of fellow inmates.

I have heard such good things about this show, but I really don;t like prison shows, so I may sit it out.
I watched the entire season 2 in one day/night. It was a great season and I liked it even better than the first!

I do not understand why they used this show to create binge watchers! That is how I viewed both seasons. I love it!

This is such a great show. I finished this season and have started The Fall with Gillian Anderson…another good show. Netflix rocks!

We love having NetFlix and I’ve watched part of Orange is the New Black, but it didn’t hold my interest. However, we still always find good shows and movies to watch.

I will admit that I like this show, I am bummed that from reports they will not be doing a season 3 and I am so sad. I have to say I love the boyfriend, actor Jason B.

I love Netflix. I am actually watching Hemlock Grove on their right now. Its a bit weird, but fun. I tried OITNB, but I stopped. It was a little too much for me.
My husband has been watching this show, I think he’s finally all caught up. I haven’t yet really tried it, thought I’ve caught snippets while he’s watching and it definitely looks intriguing!

I have been watching this show since it came out. I couldn’t wait for Season 2 and the minute it was released the husband and I binged watched every episode. I have a lot of favorite characters because it’s so hard to pick one. But, right now I would have to say its a tie between Red and Tasty at the moment.

It seems as though this show snuck in and captured the attention of a lot of people. I saw the first episode, but that’s it. It’s nice that Netflix is developing their own shows for their network.

I need to catch up on Orange is the New Black. I watched the first episode and just never found time to go back.
We watch this as well, but haven’t finished the second season, the second season seems to be a little slower than the first, on netflix we love house of cards, breaking bad, walking dead, longmire, and hell on wheels.
Us too! We’ve heard of it for a while now but never looked into it. We just started watching it and trying to catch up. I like it but I think it glamorizes prison, which I don’t think is such a good idea.
