With Spring and Summer comes beautiful flowers and wispy trees.  However, with this natural beauty also comes allergies.  Allergies not only come with the seasons, but can come with some of our most beloved pets too.  If you’ve ever experienced allergies, you know they are no fun at all!  The constant sneezing, sniffling, runny nose, stuffy head, and itchy eyes leaves us with what we’ll call “Allergy Face®.”

I thought about taking a picture of my “Allergy Face®” and sharing it with y’all, but decided against it.  Describing it is good enough.  Let’s see, I start with the red nose, which is raw from constantly wiping with tissues.  Then I have the puffy eyes and red eyeballs.  Yeah – that’s attractive right?  Not!!!  Then I get that all-over, “I’m sick – leave me alone,” pale look that covers my face.  Uh yeah – definitely no beauty queen here when it comes to my “Allergy Face®!”

I’m happy to say, “No more Allergy Face® for me baby,” thanks to ZYRTEC®!  There are a lot of allergy medicines out there, so what makes ZYRTEC® so special?  Here are a few reasons:

– ZYRTEC® provides 24-hour relief of allergy symptoms

– ZYRTEC® starts working during the first hour on the first day you take it (in other words, right away!)

Celebrity makeup artist, Jamie Greenberg (@JamieMakeup on Twitter), helps us combat Allergy Face® beauty challenges (ya know, the watery eyes, red nose and puffy face I described above).  She shares some helpful beauty tips for allergy sufferers like me and to that, I say “Thank you Jamie!”  Jamie has also created six makeup “looks” that are perfect for allergy sufferers who are still trying to look their best, despite their “Allergy Face®.”

How would you describe your “Allergy Face®?”  What allergies do you suffer from?

I actually do use Zyrtec. I have terrible hayfever in the spring time and when it kicks into high gear, I need to get rid of that “puffy” face STAT.

  2. I love that, allergy face! I can’t say much about this product except in the form of a testimonial, I take it every day and it works!
    thanks,
    Mitch

  3. Allergies make me all puffy under my eyes. Jamie has some awesome tips to keep in mind when putting on makeup – so as not to accentuate the allergies, but camouflage them a bit more!

  4. I’m fortunate not to have any allergies, but my wife gets them twice a year. It seems no OTC medicine will help her specific case, she has to get a prescription every year.

  5. I have taken Zertec for the last month and a half. I go through a real rough spell late spring and early summer and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t make it without it. The allergies play havoc with my asthma

  6. I carry Zyrtec with me in my purse. During the heavy allergy seasons I have to take it daily. It is the only allergy medication on the market that actually helps me. In the country in Texas my allergies have gotten much worse over the past year.

  7. When I was a child I was deathly allergic to pork, but somehow I grew out of it. I don’t know if that’s weird or not but I am not complaining. As of now, I have no significant allergies to anything, nothing that bothers me so much that it hinders my day to day activities. I am so thankful of this and pray that I continue along this path.

  8. I think I’m allergic to just about everything. My allergy face mostly involves watery, puffy eyes. I use Zyrtec all the time and I’m glad they offer these beauty tips for allergy sufferers like me!

  9. My whole family sees a holistic dr. that gets rid of our allergies each season so we don’t have to depend on meds – BUT – for the week or two that it takes to ‘work’ we lean on Zyrtec. Especially my hubby and one of our kids who both get seasonal allergies really bad.

  10. My worst allergy reaction is when I get pollen on my contacts. Oh man! Instant itchy, red, swollen eye. I definitely need to start a daily antihistamine.

  11. My mom gets ‘allergy face’ from time to time. I wonder if she knows about Zyrtec. She lives in a different state, but I’ll be sure to bring it up the next time we chat on the phone.
