Do you love marshmallows? Â I sure do! Â Whether it’s eating them alone, in Rice Krispies Treats, or as Marshmallow Pops, these treats are adorable and melt in your mouth! Â I recently made Marshmallow Pops for my younger sister’s Baby Shower (my first time) and they turned out awesome!
HOW TO MAKE BABY SHOWER MARSHMALLOW POPS
Ingredients:
– Jet-Puffed Marshmallows (the big ones – like you use with S’mores)
– Wilton Candy Melts Candy Melting Pot
– Lollipop Sticks or Pink and White Paper Straws
– Sprinkles (pastel colored)
– It’s a Girl Stickers
Directions:
1 – Melt the Wilton Pink Candy Melts in the Wilton Candy Melts Candy Melting Pot. Â You’ll switch the Candy Melting Pot to MELT until the mixture is smooth and then switch it over to WARM to keep the candy at a consistent temperature, making it easy to dip.
2 – Dip the lollipop stick into the melted chocolate first and then stick into the Marshmallow. Â This will help act as a glue so the marshmallow doesn’t fall into the Candy Melting Pot when you’re dipping it.
3 – Allow the marshmallow to sit for a few minutes after inserting the dipped lollipop stick.
4 – Once the chocolate appears to be hardened on the stick, proceed to dip the marshmallow into the melted candy mixture.
5 – Immediately after dipping the marshmallow, shake generously the pastel sprinkles.
6 – Lay the dipped marshmallow with the stick up so it may harden (making it easy to place in the Lollipop wrap).
7 – Once hardened and dry, wrap in the Lollipop Wrapper, tie with the ribbon and place the “It’s a Girl” Sticker on. Â Serve and enjoy!
