Our kids love juice, so when we received samples of Mott’s newest flavors, the kids were eager to try them. In fact, as soon as I opened the box, they were asking if they could have one! Thanks to Mott’s and The Motherhood, we received samples of their newest flavors – Fruit Punch Rush and Wild Grape Surge. The favorite amongst the kids was by far the Fruit Punch Rush, but closely followed by the Wild Grape Surge.
Whether it’s playing with LEGOs or running around outside, I try to fuel our kids with healthy and nutritious foods that taste good. When I look at juices, there are a few things I look for. First, I look for high fructose corn syrup (preferring juices that don’t have this ingredient). Second, I look to see how many servings of fruit per cup there. Third, I look to see if there are flavors our kids would actually drink. I found all three of these things with the Mott’s juices.
These new bold flavors take a step outside of apple juice and appeal to older kids, ages 6-12 years old. The three flavors available include Fruit Punch Rush, Wild Grape Surge and Strawberry Boom. The Mott’s juices include 40% less sugar than fruit juices, with no artificial sweeteners and 100% Daily Value of Vitamin C. Plus, there is one full serving of fruit per cup. Fruit Punch Rush has 52% juice content and Wild Grape Surge and Strawberry Boom have 53% juice content. This is a big difference from the majority of juice drinks that are just 5 to 10% juice. There is also no high-fructose corn syrup.
