“The LEGO Movie” Hits Theaters on 2/7 + Giveaway!!!!
Frank and I have six kids together and they all love LEGOs! In fact, when we went to the movies this summer, we saw the preview for “The LEGO Movie” – not once, but twice. Both times, the kids showed excitement about the movie coming out and were whispering to one another that they wanted to see it together when it came out. I loved seeing that and already had it planned that we would take all 6 kids to see “The LEGO Movie” in February.
On February 7th, “The LEGO Movie” will hit theaters! Woot woot! This will be the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO adventure and one of Fandango fans’ most anticipated movies of the year. To help families and LEGO fans alike secure their seats in advance of the movie release, Fandango has launched collective “The LEGO Movie”-themed gift cards. These fun gift cards are available at retail, exclusively at Target stores. The $25 gift cards can be used to purchase movies on Fandango.com or Fandango’s free mobil app to more than 22,000 screens across the country.
You can find the collectible “The LEGO Movie” gift cards in the Toys & Games section at Target. They are located amongst the cool “The LEGO Movie” toys, also exclusive to Target. The featured toys include 17 different building sets that enable children to bring “The LEGO Movie” to life, helping Emmet and the Master Builders save the LEGO world from Lord Business. Imagination and creativity will run wild with these sets, which represent the most exciting and memorable scenes from the movie.
“The LEGO Movie,” from Warner Bros. Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures and LEGO System A/S, stars Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Charlie Day, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Emmet is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which he is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
Be sure to follow The LEGO Movie on Facebook and Twitter, as well as Fandango on Facebook and Twitter.
