Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies with Kids

Our kids love to get crafty and creative, especially when they can’t eat their creations after.  Thanksgiving is the perfect time to create Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies with your kids.  This craft is not only fun and yummy, but it’s affordable, which is great for our big family or a family on a budget.

For this craft, I set up 6 individual plates with goodies for each of the kids.  The plates included Homemade Sugar Cookies, a bowl of Chocolate Frosting, Candy Googly Eyes, Candy Corn with yellow and orange colors, Candy Corn with yellow and brown colors and Hershey Kisses.  In the center of the table, I also had Wilton Sparkle Gel in a variety of colors.

The kids had a blast decorating, showing each other their creations and then eating their cookies.  They were so excited to have me take their pictures too!
