As a blogger, I have the awesome opportunity to test-drive and write about my experience with various cars and brands.  I love it and so does my family!  Most recently, I test-drove a 2013 KIA Rio Eco.  If you’re looking for a car that gets good mileage and is affordable at a new price, you’ll want to definitely check out the KIA Rio Eco.

I liked the fuel economy on the KIA Rio Eco (32 MPG combined city/highway and 35 mpg on the highway).  It wasn’t as comfortable and luxurious as the KIA Sorento or KIA Soul, but it did get really good mileage and could fit a family of 5 comfortably!  The KIA Rio Eco had SIRIUS Satellite Radio, as well as easy-to-access Radio and Bluetooth controls were located on the steering wheel.  The car also had air conditioning and power windows that the driver could lock or unlock (always a plus, especially with children).   I also like that the car had Keyless Entry and a Rear Camera Display. If you’re looking for a standout advertising solution, consider a vehicle wrap design by Icon Signs to promote your business on the go.

  1. They are making Kia’s to look so nice! I like that this car has a 6 speed automatic transmisson. I am never going to drive with a manual transmission again. I like the pretty silver color and that it has 4 doors!

    1. Julie – I totally agree with you. KIAs today and way different than I remember years ago. I love having the opportunity to check them out and share with you on The Mommy-Files.
