Disney Trip Disclosure

Tomorrow, October 1st, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing The Little Mermaid: Diamond EditionDiamond Edition on Blu-ray and DVD!  I loved watching The Little Mermaid as a little girl and am so excited to introduce it to our kids.  In fact, they’ll have to listen to me sing the songs as we watch the movie – hee hee!

A few months ago, I was invited to an amazing event hosted by Disney.  Part of the trip included a closer look into the underwater world of The Little Mermaid.  We had the opportunity to interview Directors John Musker and Ron Clements, as well as the voice of Ariel, Jodi Benson.  We also had the opportunity to check out the newest merchandise for The Little Mermaid that would be available at the Disney Store.  It was pretty dang awesome!

Anyways, back to the release of The Little Mermaid: Diamond Edition.  The Little Mermaid will splash its way into homes for the very first time in Blu-ray Hi-Def with new breathtaking picture and sound restoration.  It will be available for purchase online and in stores starting October 1st and retails for $44.99. I really enjoyed the movie, which had an amazing picture and sound quality. My favorite Bonus Features were “@Disney Animation” and “Part of Her World: Jodi Benson’s Voyage to New Fantasyland.”

  1. Ok I love every scene of this movie… I’m not sure i could pick just one! Ok.. Kiss the Girl or Under the Sea. Great Giveaway!!

  2. I’m a collector, so I can really identify with Arial when she’s singing “Part of Your World” in her cave. My favorite character has to be Sebastian. He tries so hard to keep Arial safe.

  3. I adore the scene where Sebastion is trying to convince Ariel that under the sea is better. I love the song and all the fish dancing. Ariel is my favorite character. I love how she fights for what she wants.

  4. It’s so hard to choose a favorite…I love the WHOLE movie!!! However, I think “Under the Sea” sticks out a little more than the rest!

  5. Ariel is my favorite character, I love the scene where she uses the fork to comb her hair. Thanks for the chance to win!
