Being a work-at-home mom, I sometimes find it a challenge to prepare a recipe that is enjoyed by everyone in our family.  However, I recently created one that we will definitely be enjoying again soon!  My boys have been requesting Chicken Alfredo, a dish I used to make when they were little.  However, I wanted to change it up a little bit and created a Kid-Friendly Chicken Alfredo Casserole Bake Recipe.  It was a hit!

Pacific Coast Selections Pasta Sauce 1

Our family loves to eat pasta and there have been a number of pasta sauce brands we’ve used in the past.  Usually the pasta sauces come from the pasta aisle, but I recently discovered a refrigerated pasta sauce at Save Mart – Pacific Coast Selections Alfredo Creamy Sauce.  I was looking forward to trying this new new brand of Alfredo Sauce and creating a new recipe that my family would enjoy!  You can read more about my shopping experience in my Google+ Story.

    1. Linda – it is so yummy! I never thought about making Chicken Alfredo into a casserole with Penne Pasta. Super yummy!

  1. I adore anyting with alfredo sauce. I am so glad it is in jars now so I cant see how much butter it has in it when I used to have to make it 🙂 It’s one of my favorites!

  2. I’ve never tried before, my kids are just starting to experiment with “sauce” on their pasta. I would probably try the Alfredo with chicken too….it looks yummy!

  3. I will try this recipe with my children. I haven’t made chicken alfredo in a while because they don’t always eat it and because its calorie rich. I started adding veggies to it – green beans sometimes, broccoli other times – and my kids like that! It’s a great way to get them to eat the green! This seems like a great twist on a good dish.

I always find chicken of any kind is a hit with kids. Going to give this a try too. Looks really good to me.
