Making Movie Memories with Your Family #FandangoFamilyRoom
Over the past few months, I have loved working with Fandango as a Family Room Ambassador. I have had the opportunity to Make Movie Memories with My Family and it’s been awesome! I remember when I was a little girl and saw E.T. with my family. There were so many memories – movies on the big screen, the smell of popcorn, the sound of candy wrappers opening, and the sound of our laughter and gasps together as a family. It’s so awesome now that I have my own kids and we make memories together as a family! Here are a few ways you can make memories with your family at the movies:
Check out my blog post at the Fandango Family Room for more tips on how to make memories with your family at the movies.
How do you make memories with your family at the movies?
Awe, we love family movie nights. My son is so little that we mostly watch movies at home. We put a blanket down and let him eat pizza in the living room during the movie which is a big deal to him! π
I love the idea of taking photos in front of the displays! It’s a great idea for scrapbooking!
I also really like that idea of taking photos in front of the movie posters!
I’ve honestly never thought about taking my boys’ pictures in front of the displays int he theatre. What a great idea and so simple!
I have so many great movie memories with my parents – can’t wait to make lots with my boys.
Awe… love the idea of before and after photos… never thought of that… we love having movie night in and out… Thanks so much for the post
We love going to the movies as a family. I think movie passes are a great birthday present for the kiddos too… they have too many toys as it is π
We try to make special memories with our family often. Just yesterday we decided to take a last-minute little road trip and it’s been such a blast π
Despicable Me 2 looks really good
glad you enjoyed it
Aww your littles are so cute :). My boyfriends family has a real bond regarding going to the theater – when movies that his brothers & mom will all like they all go see it on the opening night together even though they are now in their 20’s and 30’s. It seems fairly rare to me that 3 men that age get together with their mom & brothers outside of holidays so I think that says a lot about how much of a bond creating family memories around movies can be!
We do so many of the same things! We especially love to eat popcorn together and I always try to get cups or something to divide it up. We also love taking pictures with the movie posters or displays in the theater. It gets the kids extra excited.
This was the first summer where my girls were both old enough to watch a few movies. It was a lot of fun. For Smurfs 2, I made blue “smurf coins”. They would get a smurf coin every time they were good or did something I asked. It was fun. They needed 10 smurf coins to go to the movie and 5 more if they wanted candy at the movie. Both girls earned enough for both and it was a good way to get them to behave, lol!
