If you know me, you know that our family lives on a golf course! I have been golfing and love it, but I have never attended a live LPGA event. However, I did this past week – the KIA Classic. My family and I were invited to Carlsbad to stay in the gorgeous Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. During our trip, we visited the KIA Classic and LEGOLAND. KIA is the official sponsor of the Professional Women’s Golf Tournament, so attending the KIA Classic was a pretty awesome thing!
At the KIA Classic, there were KIAs everywhere! Plus, displayed at the event was the KIA Cadenza, not yet released. It is a gorgeous car and I so badly wanted to get in and check out the interior. Fingers crossed we have that opportunity in the future. As a part of the KIA Classic Event, we had the opportunity to drive the 2014 KIA Sorento from our home to the event. I love that car and will be sad to see it leave next week!
As we arrived at the KIA Classic, we were given autographed pictures of professional golf pro, Michelle Wie. They were not only autographed, but personalized for each member of our family. We loved it!
The Park Hyatt Aviara Golf Course was gorgeous! It is the only coastal California course designed by Arnold Palmer and features a memorable layout: par 72 over 18 holes and 7,007 yards uniquely sculpted around rolling hillsides, native wildflowers, and plenty of bunker and water challenges. Hole after hole, the Aviara Golf Course will stimulate the senses with colorful flowers and flora.
At the KIA Classic, we had the opportunity to watch the golfers practice on the putting green, tee off, and play the 18th hole. Plus, on the 18th hole was the Kia Cadenza floating in the water. That was so cool!!
One of the things I love about blogging events is having the opportunity to connect with online friends I have known and grown with in the blogosphere in real life! Not to mention the new friends I meet! I had a great time hanging out with Jen from The Mom Reviews and Jasmine from Simply Real Moms. I can’t wait to connect with them again soon!

It was a little overcast at first, but that made for awesome pics! The weather cleared up in no time and it turned out to be a gorgeous weekend. 🙂

We love KIA too! You have to check out the 2014 KIA Sorento, even if it means heading to the dealership and test driving one. So amazing! Seeing all the KIA signs at the KIA Classic was an awesome experience. 🙂
