Find Your Happy Place with Alamo This Vacation Season + Giveaway

I love to travel and have been traveling since I was in junior high.  The first trip I took was to the gorgeous island of Maui (one of my Happy Places).  There I met a girl from Canada and we became friends and pen pals – which led to my next trip to Alberta, Canada.  There, I experienced Canada and the art of gardening, tubing in a lake and reveling at the beauty that was Lake Louise – a lake with a year round glacier!

When I was in high school, my Show Choir group traveled to Hawaii and there I saw Pearl Harbor.  Talk about an amazing experience!  We also attended a luau, took in some of the beauty that was Hawaii, and performed with our Show Choir group (of course).

Once I graduated from high school, I moved from Southern California to the Central Coast to attend community college.  My first summer there, my parents took my sister and I to Russia.  We experienced Russia on a river cruise that took us from Moscow to St. Petersburg.  We saw the Kremlin and the Red Square in Moscow, as well as monuments and beautiful buildings, including one of the most amazing museums I’ve ever walked through – the Hermitage.

Once I was an adult, I had the opportunity to travel to Florida, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Minnesota, and even a trip to Cancun, Mexico.  If you can’t tell, I LOVE to travel!  This trip to Hawaii this summer will be the first vacation to a far-away place with Frank, the boys, and I.  I am looking forward to the memories we will make as a family on that trip!
