When I was doing my Paralegal internship with the family law office in San Luis Obispo, I remember hearing the attorney talk about AARP here and there.  I remember thinking to myself, “What the heck is AARP?”  AAR P is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that helps people 50 and older improve the quality of their lives.  For just $16 a year, AARP provides (1) Discounts on travel and everyday savings; (2) Subscription to AARP The Magazine, and Free membership for your spouse or partner.

On average, AARP members save $375 on average when they switch auto insurance providers.  That is a lot of money saved!  Plus, auto insurance comes fully loaded with lots of benefits!  You’ll also have access to House, Condo, and Rental Apartment Insurance.  Wherever you live, AARP can provide 100% Protection, New for Old Replacement, and Lifetime Renewability.  Do you have a boat, ATV, snowmobile, RV, or golf cart?  AARP can also provide insurance for those vehicles you play with most.

For taxi driver insurance requirements are much different than for everyday drivers. Since taxi drivers are operating a vehicle as part of their business, they need to have commercial auto insurance. This type of insurance will protect them in the event of an accident, regardless of who is at fault. It will also cover any damages that occur to their vehicle or property, as well as any injuries that may occur to passengers or other drivers. Taxi drivers need to make sure they have the proper insurance coverage to protect themselves, their passengers, and their business. AARP does not currently offer taxi driver insurance, but many insurance companies specialize in commercial auto insurance for taxi drivers. Taxi drivers need to research their options and find a policy that meets their specific needs and budget.

It can be overwhelming to navigate the different insurance options available, especially when it comes to commercial auto insurance for taxi drivers. Fortunately, there are resources available to help choosing insurance. InsuranceRanked.com is a website that offers a wealth of information on insurance options, including commercial auto insurance for taxi drivers. They provide comparisons of different insurance policies and companies, as well as reviews from customers. By using this resource, taxi drivers can make an informed decision about their insurance coverage and ensure they have the protection they need. Recognising the nuances of your industry is pivotal in selecting an insurance policy. A motor trade business would greatly benefit from a policy tailored to its specific needs, as opposed to a one-size-fits-all approach. It is for this reason that you might want to consider https://www.tradex.com/motor-trade-insurance, which provides comprehensive coverage for motor trade businesses.

Having a membership through AARP gives you a ton of benefits!  Do you need a new computer?  With an AARP membership, members receive exclusive savings on HP commercial technology, as well as free U.S ground shipping.  Do you have a membership to Angie’s List?  Well if you do and you have an AARP membership, you can save up to 45% on your Angie’s List membership.  Are you planning a vacation?  Would you like to take a relaxing journey on a Windstar Cruise?  AARP members can save 5% on cruises + 10% at onboard stores with Windstar Cruises.

With your AARP membership, there are also other discounts and benefits you receive.  Members have access to discounts on groceries, dining and more.  Members can save on car rentals, hotels, and more.  Members can save on items like health insurance, prescriptions, glasses and other health products.  Members can also access financial products from credit cards to retirement planning.

On the website, you’ll find access to lots of information.  When logging into your account, you can see a personalized summary of all the savings, activities and services you have received from AARP to date.  Plus, you can even sign up to take AARP Driver Safety’s classroom or online course at a discounted rate.

If you are over 50, I encourage you to take advantage of the benefits that are a part of the AARP membership.
